Committees

 

PTSA Committees

 

Appreciation Committee:  The Appreciation Committee recognizes and demonstrates appreciation for Fuqua School teachers, staff, and volunteers, and assists with identified special events.

 

Athletics Committee:  The Athletics Committee works with the Fuqua School Athletics Department to identify needs and to provide financial and volunteer support.  It also assists in the areas of school spirit and pride.

 

Buildings and Grounds Committee:  The Buildings and Grounds Committee works with the Fuqua School Operations Department to supply manpower and ideas to maintain and enhance facilities and grounds.

 

Events Committee:  The Events Committee provides support for special programs of the School, such as Family and Friends' Day.

 

Fund-Raising Committee:  The Fund-Raising Committee plans and facilitates all approved fund-raising activities of the Association, with the exception of those activities organized and facilitated by the Athletics Committee and the Band Committee for the purpose of supporting those program areas,.   

 

Nominating Committee:  The Nominating Committee identifies and solicits candidates to serve as members of the Association Board of Directors.

 

Special Projects Committee:  The Special Projects Committee coordinates activities to facilitate or support special projects identified by the PTSA Board of Directors.  Such projects may include fund raising initiatives or non-fund raising special events.

 

Band Committee:  The Band Committee works with the Fuqua School band director, band assistant, and administration to help identify needs and to provide financial and volunteer support for the band program.

 

Volunteer Coordination Committee:  The Volunteer Coordination Committee recruits and coordinates volunteers to assist with PTSA committee responsibilities and other special events.
