Honor Roll

The Honor Roll at the middle and upper Schools consists of three categories:  President's List, Dean's List, and Merit List.  During a nine-weeks grading period, students who earn all A's attain the President's List; students with all A's and B's attain the Dean's List; and those with a 3.0 GPA with no grade less than a C minus for the grading period attain the Merit List.  In addition, students must earn conduct grades no lower than 2 to be placed on any Honor Roll list.  To be named to the Honor Roll for the semester, students must meet the same criteria outlined above for the two nine weeks which comprise the semester.  To be named for the year, students must meet the criteria for all four nine weeks.

At the lower school level, students in grades 4 and 5 are named to the Honor Roll every nine weeks by attaining at least a 3.0 GPA with no grade less than a C minus, "meeting" or "exceeding" expectations in all academic performance areas, and receiving no more than two "needs improvement" ratings on those Work Habits and Social Skills that are considered in determining Honor Roll eligibility.  These are also marked on the progress report for special area classes (art, music, media/computer, physical education).
